About the Olympiad
The Pythagoras Maths Charity invites children aged 5–11 to take part in our free online Maths Olympiad, running October 6−19.
This will be our seventh Olympiad, and we’re excited to welcome young maths fans once again!

A story full of adventure!
The Dog World is in trouble! The magical Golden Bones of Professions have vanished, and without them everything’s upside down.
A chef-dog is stirring a bubbling pot of old sneakers and slippers, a builder-dog is busy hammering a doghouse right on top of a garage roof, and an astronaut-dog mistook a rocket for a giant tin can.
Behind all this chaos stood The Fake Science Cat. Jealous of the dogs’ success, he had stolen the Golden Bones and hidden them in the strangest places. The only way to get them back is to outsmart his riddles, laugh through his silly trials, and show real cleverness.
Three brave dogs set out on a quest: Tormund, the Brabançon architect; Nebula, the Greyhound astronaut; and Bonya, the Spitz barista. Yet their strength alone will not suffice. It is only the courage and wisdom of children that can reclaim the Golden Bones and put the professions back in order in the World of Dogs.

Answers are entered online through our website. We’ll send each participant a personal link before the Olympiad begins.
We recommend using a laptop, computer, or tablet so it’s easier to dive into the magical world of maths.
Every participant receives a bright, named certificate to celebrate their success! Results and full solutions arrive a week after the Olympiad. Good luck and have fun!
